The first official movie trailer of Marmaduke has been released by 20th Century Fox:

MARMADUKE
Plot:
"For Phil and Debbie Winslow, moving their family from Kansas to the O.C. is a big deal. For their enormous Great Dane 'Marmaduke', (voiced by Owen Wilson) however, the move means a whole new way of life. It's chaos at home and awkward at work as the Winslows struggle to control their angsty teenage canine."

This Marmaduke looks as naughty as the original dog from the comic. This movie is a must-see if you to have a good healthy laugh!

Marmaduke Live Action Movie

A live action Marmaduke movie is under works! The film is directed by Tom Dey. It will be told told from the viewpoint of the dog Marmaduke, the Great Dane made famous in the popular comic strip. Actor Owen Wilson will lend his voice to Marmaduke. The film will also star Emma Stone, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Ron Perlman, Judy Greer, Anjelah Johnson, Lee Pace and Steve Coogan. 20th Century Fox set the release date of The Marmaduke movie for June 4, 2010.

A few words from Director Tom Dey about this upcoming live action Marmaduke movie:

"We've approached the movie like a John Hughes movie with dogs. The dog park is like high school for dogs. To make this kind of movie, you really have to understand that it is the dog's world and we just live in it.
